Half Day Hiking Trip

School let out early so we grabbed some snacks and hit the trail!

The 2.5 mile hike proved more challenging than some of us expected, but none of our adventurers gave up! We saw a garter snake in the tunnel, had fun with some scavenger hunts, and even practiced sitting in silence for a few minutes. And several of the participants learned or rediscovered the simple joy of throwing rocks in the river. All in all, it was a beautiful afternoon.
