Packing list:

We will provide nearly all of the gear and food necessary. Please send your child with the following. 

  1. Comfortable shoes for hiking. These need to fit well, but be something you don’t mind getting muddy. 

  2. One change of hiking clothes

    • Synthetic/Athletic materials are best. NO JEANS, please. 

    • Pants, shorts or both. (We’ll check the weather closely as the trip approaches.)

    • Shirt

    • Underwear

    • Socka

    • Hoody/jacket (preferably a couple of light layers)

    • Cap or hat for the sun

  3. One change of camping/sleeping clothes

    • Long sleeve shirt

    • Pants or shorts for sleeping. (PJ pants would be fine here.)

    • 1 pair of underwear

    • Socks

    • Flip-flops, sandals or crocs  (optional)

  4. A couple of extras

    • 1 extra t-shirt for hiking

    • 1 extra pair of underwear

    • 1 extra pair of socks

  5. Warm Hat (depending on the season)

  6. Any prescription medications

  7. Optional but good to have items:

    • Sunglasses

    • Chapstick

    • Toothbrush and toothpaste

If you do not have something from the list, we will be happy to loan it to you. Please let us know ASAP.
